RECIPE CUSTOMIZATION · WHISK PRO
Love the recipe. Make the details yours.
Start with a recipe that catches your eye, then tell Whisk what you’d like to change. Pro turns that idea into a private version you can review and save.
New AI recipe customization requires Whisk Pro. Monthly and yearly options are available in the app.

The Whisk app: a customization request and the resulting recipe.
A starting point, a request, your own version
01
Open a catalog recipe
Choose a recipe from the catalog as your starting point. You begin with existing ingredients and directions, with a particular change in mind.
02
Describe the change
Ask for an ingredient swap, a vegetarian version, different servings, more protein, or a quicker approach. Be specific about what you want to keep and what you want to change.
03
Review and save
Read the resulting ingredients and directions before cooking. If it’s a version you want to make again, save it to your cookbook and use it in your plan or grocery list.
A useful request can be simple
For example: “Make this vegetarian,” “Scale this for four people,” or “Add peanut butter.” These are example requests, not promises about a particular result. Review ingredient labels and the full recipe, especially when allergies or dietary needs matter.
A few useful answers.
Are my customized recipes public?
No. Custom versions are private to your account and are not added to the public catalog.
What happens if I don’t save a version?
Unsaved versions remain stored as private drafts until account deletion. They do not appear in your cookbook. Save a version if you want to keep it in your recipe collection.
Does customization guarantee an allergen-safe recipe?
No. Review the ingredients, labels, and cooking directions yourself. AI customization does not guarantee allergen safety or nutritional suitability.
